Selling Methods
Sellers have access to 3 methods of distributing their merchandise.
On Demand selling allows sellers to open a store on The InfoShop.com.au for free, upload their images and content without the hassle of producing any inventory. If a purchaser buys one of the sellers' items, The InfoShop.com.au will produce one and send it to the purchaser.
The seller can sell his product for any amount he likes. The InfoShop.com.au takes a fixed base fee from the sale, based on the product type and 15% of the selling price. The difference is put into the sellers account and accumulates there until the end of the following calendar month. The InfoShop.com.au then directly deposits the monies into the sellers account.
Inventory selling allows sellers to produce their product in bulk runs to take advantage of wholesale bulk duplication rates. A specified number is then put into stock. If a buyer buys one of these items, we pick, pack and ship the items. Again the seller can set any retail price he likes. The InfoShop.com.au takes a small base fee for storage and 15% of the retail price and the balance is deposited into the sellers account.
Downloads allow a seller to upload the product as an MP3, WMV, .EXE or PDF file and make it available for download. This allows a seller to sell their music or audio track by track instantly with no inventory costs. The InfoShop.com.au takes a small base fee to cover the data transfer fees and 15% of the sale price.
How Does the Money Work?
The profits that a seller makes within the store are held in their account until the end of the next calendar month to allow for the 30 money back guarantee period to expire. Any returns during this period will be handled by The InfoShop.com.au's customer service team and the appropriate monies refunded to the buyer.
The profits made buy a seller can also be used as InfoCash with The InfoShop.com.au to purchase some of your own On-Demand products or products from any other store within the site.
Affiliate Program
A unique affiliate program has been developed to attract both buyers and sellers to the online community.
Any member can refer a seller to The InfoShop.com.au. If this person opens a store and begins to sell products, the referring member receives 2.5% of the retail sale price from all products sold in this members store, for life.
Any member can refer a buyer to The InfoShop.com.au. If this person becomes a member and buys items from any store within The InfoShop.com.au, the referring member receives 2.5% of the retail sale price of this buyers purchases, for life.
Potentially, any member can refer buyers and sellers to The InfoShop.com.au and receive up to 5% of the retail sale price.
The 5% affiliate fee is taken from The InfoShop.com.au's 15% margin of the retail sale price.
The InfoShop.com.au will supply a “toolbox” of useful promotional tools to help every member become a productive referrer to The InfoShop.com.au. Banners, images and HTML code will be available for use within a Members own website to facilitate “click through” traffic.
